What If The First Time You Ever Met Your Dad, Three Days Later, He Died?

What Would You Tell Him About Your Life?

My Story

I’m Steven Fox—an artist, poet, and lifelong storyteller. Luckily, my I created The Time Capsule Podcast as a space for me to honor the people and memories that shaped me and to catch my deceased father up on all of adventure that he missed out on. Speaking of my dad, he passed away just three days after we met. My mother’s life was cut short far too soon. For years, I’ve carried the weight of unfinished conversations and unshared moments.

This podcast is my way of finally speaking to them—and to everyone who has ever loved, lost, and longed for connection.

What This Podcast Is:

The Time Capsule Podcast is a weekly audio memoir blending personal storytelling, spoken word poetry, and honest reflection. Every Wednesday, I open a different chapter of my life—from growing up in Memphis, to building a creative career, to finding resilience in the face of trauma—and share it as if I’m catching up with my parents across time.

Each episode is part love letter, part confession, part celebration of the ordinary and extraordinary.

Why It Matters:

We all carry stories that deserve to be heard. Whether you’re processing your own losses or simply love good storytelling, I hope these episodes remind you that you’re not alone. That our memories—no matter how imperfect—can become something beautiful when we share them out loud.
